Vietnam-focused ETFs finished the five sessions to 25/09/2026 mixed, with FUESSV50 the only domestic fund in the snapshot to post a positive weekly return (+1.23%), while the VN30-tracking group fell broadly and FUEKIVFS recorded the weakest five-session figure at -4.34%. Bản báo cáo ETF tuần này reviews the performance of the seven ETFs covered by the latest Yahoo Finance data snapshot, sets out what the data does and does not say about fund flows, and explains why trading volume should never be read as creation or redemption activity. All prices cited are prior-session closing prices from the 25/09/2026 data snapshot; at the time of publication the market had not yet opened for the new session.

FUESSV50 was the clear weekly outperformer in the group, adding 1.23% over the five sessions and edging up 0.24% in the prior session, leaving it at 28,850 VND per unit with a one-month return of -0.21% and a year-to-date gain of 1.51%. FUEKIVFS moved in the opposite direction: it fell 4.34% over the week, the steepest five-session decline in the table, even though it rose 0.99% in the prior session and remains the strongest one-month performer at +7.01%.

E1VFVN30, the most widely followed domestic line in this snapshot, slipped 2.54% for the week to 34,600 VND and sits 4.13% lower year to date. FUEVFVND declined 1.40% across the five sessions and holds the weakest year-to-date reading in the table at -11.96%, closing at 33,720 VND. FUESSV30 lost 1.29% for the week and 3.00% year to date, closing at 24,540 VND.

FUESSVFL posted only a small weekly decline of 0.48%, helped by a 3.10% gain in the prior session — the largest single-session move recorded anywhere in the snapshot — and it is one of just two lines with a positive one-month return (+0.31%). The US-listed VanEck Vietnam ETF (VNM) closed at $17.27, down 2.04% over the week and 9.63% year to date, on volume of 385K shares. Chi tiết từng quỹ được cập nhật liên tục tại trang sản phẩm ETF.

This week's headline question — where did ETF money move in the five sessions to 25/09/2026? — cannot be answered from the data set used in this report, and it is important to say so plainly rather than imply flows that the snapshot does not contain.

Volume is not fund flow. A high-volume session on an ETF can reflect secondary-market trading between investors on the exchange, not a single dong entering or leaving the fund. Conversely, a fund can grow meaningfully through creation activity on a day when the ticker prints 0K units, because creation and redemption happen at NAV with the authorised participants rather than on the order book.
