Thị trường ETF Việt Nam — Vietnam ETF Market Recap, Session 05/10/2026: Price Action, Liquidity and Fund Flows

The session's most striking single print came from FUEKIVFS, which shows a +6.93% one-day change at 16,210 VND but with 0K units of reported volume.

Thị trường ETF Snapshot: Closing Prices Across the Lineup

Large-cap funds

  • E1VFVN30 (VFMVN30 ETF): 34,050 VND, −0.41% on the day, 273K units.
  • FUEVFVND (DCVFMVN Diamond ETF): 32,670 VND, +0.03% on the day, 210K units.
  • FUESSV30 (SSIAM VN30 ETF): 23,960 VND, −0.17% on the day, 11K units.

The two largest funds by volume diverged by only a few basis points in price terms on the day, but the direction split is worth noting: E1VFVN30, which tracks the VN30 basket, closed lower, while FUEVFVND, which follows the Diamond basket, closed marginally higher.

  • FUESSV50 (SSIAM VNX50 ETF): 27,800 VND, −0.61% on the day.
  • FUESSVFL (SSIAM VN FINLEAD ETF): 27,870 VND, −0.54% on the day.
  • FUEKIVFS (KIM Growth VN30 ETF): 16,210 VND, +6.93% on the day.

Liquidity: Where Trading Volume Actually Sat

Volume concentration in the two largest funds

According to the Yahoo Finance data for the session, liquidity was heavily concentrated. E1VFVN30 recorded 273K units and FUEVFVND 210K units. Behind them, FUESSVFL traded 21K units, FUESSV30 11K units and FUESSV50 just 2K units. The US-listed VanEck Vietnam ETF reported 683K shares, a separate market with a different trading session.

Reading the 0K print on FUEKIVFS

FUEKIVFS shows a +6.93% one-day change on 0K units of reported volume. A large percentage move on a session with no reported volume should be treated with caution — it reflects a thin or unreliable print rather than a broad repricing of the fund. We report it as it appears in the data, not as a signal.

Thị trường ETF Fund Flows: What This Session's Data Can and Cannot Show

Volume is not fund flow

This is the most commonly misread metric in ETF coverage. True ETF fund flow is the change in shares outstanding multiplied by NAV — that is, creation and redemption activity. Trading volume on the exchange, and foreign net buying or selling, are different measures entirely. The dataset for 05/10/2026 contains prices, percentage changes and volume only. It contains no creation/redemption figures, so no inflow or outflow conclusion can be drawn for any fund in this article.

Where official flow data lives

For NAV, shares outstanding and official flow figures, use the dữ liệu thị trường ETF pages and the individual trang sản phẩm quỹ ETF. Until those figures are available, the correct label for today's numbers is "closing volume" and "closing price" — not "capital inflow" or "cash poured in".

Performance Trends Across the thị trường ETF: One Week, One Month and Year-to-Date

Short-term: the weekly picture

Over one week, the declines were led by FUESSV50 at −3.44%, followed by VNM at −3.18%, FUESSVFL at −2.96%, E1VFVN30 at −1.25%, FUEVFVND at −1.12% and FUESSV30 at −0.62%.

Medium-term: the one-month picture

On a one-month basis, the softness is broader: FUESSV50 −6.99%, VNM −6.59%, FUEKIVFS −7.05%, FUEVFVND −4.19%, with the remaining domestic funds — FUESSVFL and E1VFVN30 — also in negative territory. The direction is consistent across the basket rather than driven by a single product.

Year-to-date

Year-to-date performance for every fund listed above is available on the trang tổng hợp quỹ ETF, alongside NAV history and distribution records. YTD figures are not reproduced here because the session dataset covers price, percentage change and volume only.

Takeaways for Readers Tracking the thị trường ETF

  • Two funds — E1VFVN30 and FUEVFVND — carried almost the entire domestic volume on 05/10/2026.
  • The only positive one-day move among major domestic funds came from FUEVFVND, and it was marginal (+0.03%).
  • The +6.93% print on FUEKIVFS came with 0K reported volume and should not be read as a price signal.
  • No inflow or outflow can be inferred from this session — volume is not fund flow.

For NAV, shares outstanding and official creation/redemption data, see the dữ liệu quỹ ETF pages, and for background on how these products work, read ETF là gì. Product-level detail is available on the E1VFVN30 and FUEVFVND pages.
