Performance Beyond the Headline Indices

FUESSV50 and FUESSVFL

The broader and thematic funds showed their own pattern within the thị trường ETF. FUESSV50 closed at 28,850 VND, down 1.16% on the day but up 0.52% over one week and +1.51% year-to-date — the strongest YTD figure in the domestic table. FUESSVFL closed at 28,970 VND, up 0.77% on the day, -0.41% over one week and +0.31% over one month, with a year-to-date decline of 4.58%. Both sit outside the VN30 and VNDIAMOND mandates but remain part of the domestic thị trường ETF universe tracked in this recap.

Trading Volume — and What It Does Not Tell You

Volume Is Not Fund Flow

The volume figures above measure units traded on the exchange during the session: 266K units for E1VFVN30, 94K for FUEVFVND, 10K for FUESSVFL, 9K for FUESSV50, 3K for FUESSV30 and 0K reported for FUEKIVFS. These are trading volumes, not creation/redemption activity, so they should not be read as capital entering or leaving the funds. Official fund flow data — changes in shares outstanding multiplied by NAV — is a separate metric and is not part of this data set. Offshore Reference: VanEck Vietnam ETF (VNM)

Year-to-Date Context

The US-listed VanEck Vietnam ETF closed at $17.21, down 0.64% on the day, -0.92% over one week and -4.12% over one month, with a year-to-date decline of 9.94%, per Yahoo Finance. Volume stood at 222K shares. That -9.94% YTD reading is more than double the -4.13% posted by E1VFVN30, indicating that the domestic thị trường ETF has held up better than its US-listed peer so far this year.

Key Takeaways for the Domestic thị trường ETF

The domestic thị trường ETF ended the 25/09/2026 session mixed: E1VFVN30 slipped 1.65% to 34,600 VND while FUEVFVND added 0.48% to 33,720 VND. On a year-to-date basis, FUESSV50 leads the table at +1.51% and FUEVFVND lags at -11.96%. Volume stayed concentrated in E1VFVN30 at 266K units, but it remains a trading metric only — not a proxy for fund flows.
